3 August 2014 – Open to the public: civic space now

‘Open to the public: civic space now‘ is a new exhibition at the AIA New York Centre for Architecture. The website has a short video that talks about the many values and tensions associated with public spaces in cities, including the role of the Occupy movement. It also raises questions about how cities should be designed for the future to make the best use of the ‘spaces between buildings’.
