17 August 2014 House of Lords debate UK markets

NABMA (National Association of British Market Authorities) promotes UK markets on the national stage and provides a wide portfolio of services for its members – many of whom are local authorities. The Association has a comprehensive and informative website and describes how it has increased its profile by working with Government to secure recognition for markets in a number of major policy areas. One recent example took place on 23 July, when the House of Lords debated the future of local markets, the success of the Love your Local Market campaign and the need for continued Government support.
